Barceló Mussanah Resort, Sultanate of Oman

I was staying for 1 week at the Barcelo Mussanah Resort and I was overall very happy with the service provided. I´d like to highlight the qualities of the staff - they were all very kind, polite, helpful and knowledgeable (especially the receptionist who welcomed us by the check-in counter and offered us a complimentary room upgrade and made sure we were happy with all facilites). The cleanliness was good, quality and variety of the breakfast options were excellent, the pool and sea area was always well maintained and beautiful, wi-fi connection was working perfectly at all times. We were interested in a trip to Muscat and the hotel helped us to organize and arrange everything. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you want to experience a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Oman with a good service, suitable also for families with kids.

The view, the sea, the pools, and the friendly staff were the highlights of the stay.

Situated right on the beach, this resort has a lot to offer - although not all of it will be open during the low season. However, because we were traveling during the low season we were upgraded to a larger room with a sea view, and all spa services were 30% off! There are two pools (I think more during the high season) that are very clean with a lot of seating. There is a fully stocked pool bar - which super rare in Oman. The breakfast buffet has a ton of great options. Great size gym with a ton of equipment and a separate stretching room. The staff were very friendly! We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed there for leisure .family of 5 with 3 toddlers (5yrs ,5yrs and 4 yrs old ) .all had a lot of fun .Kids spent fun time at water park.Swiming pools were great ,clean and for all age groups .we have visited kids club where they had breaks in between swimming which we loved too .fun express train was wonderful too (the driver came to know that it’s my 5 yrs old BD so he played HBD song all the way through 😅) They enjoyed the movie night which is there every night (from 8-10 pm ) Breakfast Buffet was very good ,it has a variety of food options ,lovely weather for outdoor dining All in all Its was an outstanding experience,lovely staff (we met Mr Abul.R,Mr.Waleed,Mr.Safraz and Ms Samira) All were very easy to deal with and professional . We would love to visit more and more . Next time planing to spend more time on beaches and water sport which we haven’t done this time (kayaking,boat trip with sofa and Jet ski )

The Staff is very friendly and very helpful, lot of activities for the family, the Front Desk Staff are really very friendly specially Charles. When you need something and you call the room service to ask for it, they bring it immediately. The kids enjoyed the time and had many activities, they loved the new small aqua park The Barbecue, the beach, the water activities (jet ski).
